Spec email

It’s hard to get a positive response from a speculative email sent to a cold list. However, it can be done. I wrote a series of emails for a client, and here’s what one of the recipients said:

“Thanks for the email but we are all OK thank you. You are to be commended. This is the first speculative email I’ve been compelled to respond to in years. You have a lovely conversational style that engages the audience. Keep doing what you’re doing and I’m sure you’ll get business. All the best.”
